The yeongs in +66 land

"let’s eat early this year" is the family plan for the annual family reunion dinner.
After much trouble venturing for a meal today, we ended up in golden mile, beach road for some lip-smacking "Thai seafood" that my dad insisted on searching the island for. And boy, what an adventure we had.
The meal was great, actually it might very well be the best Thai food I’ve had to date.
My dad was right at home with the chaotic noise and activity there but culture shock for my mum all night long…haha.
Especially so when we headed to the Thai supermarket after dinner and stumbled across dried crickets and cockroaches neatly packed into styroform trays…nice
But nonetheless, it was a pretty unique new year reunion dinner for me, thanks to daddy.
