I recently read a hilarious kaobeikaobu-style “faq” that gathered and finalized the discrepancies throughout the movie, courtesy of kaobeikaobu master, Khoo

To be honest, I didn’t have a specific emotion towards the movie in general, it wasn’t fantastic like the first one, but it wasn’t horrible either. But I guess that was the huge issue.

The flow of the movie was plotted in such a way that the audience can’t connect to any of the characters (even the leads..) or to the storyline. There were too many characters, the plot went out-of-proportion and was scattered left right center with no specific focal point.

What did you (i mean the decision-makers of the movie) want to show us? In fact, at one climatic point of the story, I was pretty sure most audience could only focus on Megan Fox’s boobs bouncing enticingly in slomo.

If I could only have one major complaint though……it would be……what was up with the Devastator scene!!! The buildup and its appearance was almost as huge as the disappointment I felt on its downfall…………where is the good old-fashioned 10-15min long “david vs goliath-ish” battle that would end up in me cheering in my heart for the good to prevail again and for the strong and cool monster to go down.

While surfing randomly, I came across a nice DI of how an alternate Devastator could have looked like. Truer to its drawn counterpart……coool.

Dina: My name is Dina and I’ve been addicted to PC games for the past month.

REST of G.A.A (in unison): HIiii DINAaaaa!

Dina: I can’t help myself… I go home, I bathe, I feed Buttons…and then… I play……and forget about sleep.

REST of G.A.A (in unison): We understand, we are all like that too

Dina: I’ve been playing bad bad games… one lets me play God and take control of a family of lives, they wear what I want them to, they eat when I command and they die when I instruct.

One more gives me God-mode, superhuman powers. On a whimsical excuse of revenge, I can kill innocent people walking on the street, jump from a 100-floor building and live, grow claws, consume humans and monsters, create massive explosions and destruction. And, the game rewards me when I can force the army to spend more money in its war against me.

Another one lets me make a choice, in a post-apocalyptic world. I can be good, and never harm anyone, remain poor and helpless, find my father and be satisfied. Or I could be bad, kill and scavenge, deceive unwary women and murder, take everything from houses I enter. Strip the bodies I kill from their clothing and pride, cut them up from limb to limb and blow them up. I have to make a choice, and it doesn’t pay to be good.

REST of G.A.A (in unison): You’ll be just fine, you’re a good girl. Believe in yourself.

Dina: I …… erm…… chose to be bad……

REST of G.A.A (in fragments): Oh……

Dina: What should I do? I fear for my moral mind. Modern games are beginning to scare me.

REST of G.A.A (in unison): We know all about it, its a constant worry for our fathers and mothers. Mindless violence and what it can do to the malleable minds of the youths.

BUT, there is one question we need to ask you.

Did you have fun…being bad?

Dina shakes her head furiously

REST of G.A.A (in unison): You had fun didn’t you? Murdering innocent people without any real responsibility. Cheating, lying and causing massive damage.

Dina shakes her head even more furiously, tears twinkle around her closed eyes.

REST of G.A.A (in unison): SAY IT! You had fun! You WILL continue this lifestyle for a long time!

Dina lowers her head…silent

REST of G.A.A (in unison): ANSWER US!! WE DEMAND IT!!

Dina starts growling softly….

REST of G.A.A (in unison): Be true to yourself. We will understand, young one…

In a split second, Dina had transformed into a monster sprouting claws and even wearing a hoodie suddenly. She violently consumes part of G.A.A, while slicing up the rest of them.
